| San Miguel is a 450-year old Spanish colonial town which has become an artistic and touristic mecca in recent years, while still retaining it's colonial Mexican charm. It is a National Heritage site designated by the Mexican government, and it has been proposed to join UNESCO's listing of World Heritage sites like the town of Guanajuato, which is the state capital of the state where San Miguel is located.
There are many side trips to interesting and fun towns including Guanajuato that you can enjoy by car and driver as well, information we are more than happy to provide.
