| For August 2010 we ended up renting a cottage on Cape Cod - air fares prohibited us travelling to Europe. We are still most interested in exchanges in the UK and Europe - we have family in Manchester and London (whom we haven't seen for 2 years) so we'd be looking further afield, eg., Cornwall, Kent or the Cotswolds, for example, close to lots of outdoor activities such as beach, horseriding, kayaking, hiking. SCOTLAND would be awesome - particularly a spectacular location and/or proximity to Edinburgh for the festival. We love to combine the outdoors with history and culture.
France - ideally a villa large enough to house ourselves and family from England, and with a swimming pool. Prefer Provence or Alpes-Maritime. We would also be interested in including Paris in our trip.
Italy - ideally Tuscany or Riviera.
Greece - an island that offers an authentic cultural experience and lots of relaxation.
Israel - Summer 2012 to celebrate our daughter's batmitzvah.
We are also interested in USA/Canada for ski destinations, California, the Pacific Northwest, Vancouver/Victoria, the Rockies, Martha's Vineyard and Cape Cod, Adirondacks, Vermont.
The Caribbean - most islands would be of interest, also Mexico and Costa Rica.
We are also open to other ideas, shorter vacations and weekends away (Boston, Washington DC, Montreal, country homes) so please do contact us anytime.
Thank you to everyone who has written to us to request an exchange. We really do appreciate you asking and Karin tries to reply to everyone in a timely manner. But due to the large number of emails she receives every day in her hectic life as a full-time realtor/working mother, some personal emails don't get attended to as they should.
