| Winter break 2010 - New York (Manhattan or Brooklyn) or California, north to south, somewhere to explore over part of the winter holidays.
Europe, Summer 2011. We are hoping to spend 2-4 weeks in Italy or Spain, but open to France and maybe Portugal or somewhere else we haven't thought of. We will also consider all U.S. offers - try us! Shorter trips in driving distance and longer trips over school breaks and holidays. Coastal California or mountains, open to lots of places. Italy - We have friends in the Florence area but are open to lots of Italian destinations or even breaking the trip up into two different locations. Spain - probably not Madrid but are open to many ideas. Europe in general - We are willing to consider lots of options. Winter 2010- we would love to go somewhere warm (Hawaii (Big Island or Kauai), Tulum or Baja California, Mexico, Costa Rica) over break. We have a week in February (19-27) or a week in April (16-24)) |

| 1) Charleston or Georgetown destination: Carol & Patrick travel each year with Marty & Shelly to a laid back destination where we can just relax and take day trips to places with good food and entertainment.
2) Tahoe destination: We have stayed in Rubicon Bay for 40 years, usually during the first or second week of August. 5 years ago our usual rented cabin became no longer available. This year, our newer rented cabin was torn down. We're in the market for a new cabin, still on the lakeside of the highway, preferably lakeside, and with use of the homeowner's beach. We are a fairly large group (10 - 12), but are the best tenants that you can imagine (a family of laid back clean freaks), and we have a sweet place in Berkeley. Ideally, we're looking for some folks that we can swap with every year. |
