| Marin County is a great vacation destination in itself. It's the perfect location as it is close to both San Francisco (30 minutes away) and the wine country (45 minutes away). Outdoor enthusiasts will be enchanted with Marin's hiking trails and abundant outdoor activities and fantastic, summer weather (San Francisco tends to be much cooler in the summer). The micro-climates and beauty of the area make this a very pleasant place to visit.
We had a home exchange in the summer of '09 in Italy and are now looking for one on Nantucket Island for any month during the summer of 2010. |

The right villa or farmhouse would be great but any private location within a couple of hours of points of interest would be fine. If the destination were Portugal, we would prefer the Sintra or Algarve areas. However, we are open to virtually any interesting location that offers comfortable accommodations. |
