| We would like to exchange homes for a weekends or longer with someone in San Francisco. We would love being able to walk or take public transportation to opera, symphony or Union Square, Ghiradhelli, Golden Gate Park museum and tea garden area. Alternately we would enjoy the chance to walk around and expereince different neighborhoods.
We would like to do a long weekend exchange with someone in lake Tahoe or the Sierra Nevada areas like Yosemite, Carson/ Ebbets Pass, foothills/ highway 49 area.
I spent a wonderful Holy Week in Venice and Florence about 10 years ago. I think Venice is my favorite city in the world. I love the water, love the art, love the beauty. I only spent 1-2 days in Florence but was satiated with the beauty and splendor I absorbed in that in that short time. I have not really experienced Rome except for the
Colosseum, Forum, and St. Peter's passing through as a hippy in the 70's. It would be great to experience Catholic Rome from the Early Church through the Middle Ages, Renaissance and Baroque.
Generally I think we are open to most locations. We probably lean toward large cultural centers in Europe but would love to experience Africa, Asia, Australia, South America, even Greenland or the Canadian Arctic. |
