| We are wanting to visit Santa Barbara specifically for Carol to attend a painting workshop at the Veteran's Memorial Building on W. Cabrillo. Convenient location to workshop, beaches, downtown, bike paths would be nice.
While Carol is painting, I would love the use of a bicycle. After having one bicycle stolen, I never let my bicycle out of hand and would mind your's in similar manner.
We are not nightlife people but prefer the rush of ocean waves on a beach, the solitude of a hike in a mountain park, or touring local attractions. |

| We are interested in spending some time near "big water", like oceans or large lakes where we can kayak, boat and enjoy the ambiance of "big water" with the sound of waves. On land or via a bareboat would be great.
We also enjoy exploring new places, different ski areas, different golf courses.
We also are interested in spending time in some big cities. Taos is a wonderful place but large ciites offer opportunities to attend performing arts venue and cultural events that are not available here.

| Since we live in the high-desert mountains, our favorite vacation destination is somewhere with beaches, snorkling and other water activities. Our preference of location is not to have to drive too much or too far, once we've arrived. We love to: cook, eat out, walk and hike. We have mountain bicycles for "exchangers" to use and would love the same at our destination - either mountain or road bikes. We also "do" cities very well and love the metropolitan variety of restaurants, theater, museums, architecture and cultural history opportunities. |
