| If you have children (or want to invite friends or family to join you) in a tranquil and comfortable place to explore the beautiful Pacific Northwest, this is an ideal location. We are located in Vancouver, Washington, directly across the border (6 km) from the city of Portland, Oregon. We are close to the Pacific Ocean, mountains, forest and parks. We are a simple 20 minute drive to the city center of Portland. We are less than 1 km from swimming pools, public library and grocery stores. Our car is available for day trips in the area - with GPS for easy navigating. Want your kids to practice English and meet other kids? During the summer, a variety of day camps are available to children ages 6 and up.
Oregon, Washington, California and Western Canada interest us for short visits. Summer 2011 we want to visit a kid-friendly destination in France, Netherlands, Sweden or Denmark.
