As designers, we have created our own home with attention to each design detail and with every convenience. With high ceilings and luxurious materials throughout, our home is a perfect base for exploring Northern California, or simply enjoying the famous Napa Valley Wine Country. Our newly built, stylish, light filled home has high beamed ceilings, huge custom windows and doors,three marble baths, two bedrooms (king, queen) a gourmet kitchen, state-of-the-art lighting controls, and a large open Great Room for gracious living. With a fully equipped kitchen and outdoor bar-b-q grill, we have designed this home for easy indoor/outdoor living and entertaining or stay-at-home cocooning. The tall windows allow light to stream in throughout the year and a view out to a verdant and very private garden view. The house is wired for those who choose to work remotely with high speed internet, fax, copier and lots of peace and quiet. With a large 52”DLP tv, cable, dvd player, washer/dryer, dishwasher, private off road parking, organic vegetable garden, rose garden, and park-like setting, you will have everything you need to enjoy your stay.


Set on an acre, the property has a terrace for dining, a rose garden with more than 60 varieties of roses, each chosen for color, form & fragrance, and a bountiful organic vegetable garden all with full sun almost year-round.

Located in a spectacular private one acre setting, this peaceful home and garden is minutes from all of the world class wineries, restaurants and activities of in the Napa Valley and only an hour away from downtown San Francisco. You can tour the wineries, savor a meal in a myriad of restaurants, visit the Oxbow Market, shop at Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Peet’s Coffee, and the Farmer’s market, as well as Target and the Outlet Stores. You can work out at the new Synergy Wellness Center with classes from Kick Boxing to Yoga, an Olympic sized pool, spa services, brand new cardio and weight equipment, go to the local movie theater, indulge in a first class spa….all within a 5 minute drive or 10 minute bicycle ride.

We are open to many other options than we have listed and are free to travel any time of the year: Japan, Morocco, Scandinavia, New York..... Let us know your specifics and we will go from there. Our preference is to exchange for residences in cities or villages where there are cafes within walking distance. We love the cafe lifestyle and find that it is the best way to really understand a place.

We are interior designers, who have spent our working lives creating beautiful environments for our clients and ourselves. Steve is a space planner and Joan is passionate about color, form, and all things French. We enjoy traveling and are able to work with our laptop computers anywhere we can connect to the internet. Travel informs our design and enriches our lives. We are experienced exchangers and have found that our travel experiences and friendships with fellow exchangers have enriched our lives. A home exchange is a great way to connect with other like-minded travelers and to experience the daily flow of life in a natural way.
