Our wooden house is approx. 85 m2 incl. patio. There is also a big, brand new terrace around the house. There are 3 bedrooms - a sleep capacity of 6 - 1 double bed, a room with 2 single beds and one with bunk beds. Bathroom with shower. Fully equipped kitchen with stove with oven and refrigerator with freezer on top. Dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and kettle etc. The kitchen is located in open connection with the living room which has a fireplace.
The TV is connected to a satellite receiver and DVD player that provides you with both Viasat and Canal Digital TV packages. The instructions are in the house.
The house has a spacious garage with patio furniture for a minimum of 12 persons and an ordinary charcoal grill. If there is firewood in the garage, you may use it. The house has wireless internet - WIFI.
A wash maschine has not been installed yet, but it is possible to use maschines at the nearby camp site (500 m) or down the road (1 km) you will find Laundry facilities.

In the middle of the beautiful countryside between Henne and Nymindegab, not far from the North Sea, is Houstrup right on the edge of Blåbjerg plantation. Here are some of the best sandy beaches that stretch over 60 km from Blåvandshuk to Hvide Sande with an unbroken series of tall and small sand dunes.

Take a walk in Blåbjerg plantation and enjoy the view from Blåbjerg, the country's tallest sand dune. The area also offers plenty of other beautiful scenery, excellent restaurants, museums, crafts and other attractions. Do you like active holidays, there is also the possibility of ex. playing golf, fishing, windsurfing, cycling, jogging or walking in the area. Here you meet both the mountainbikers, strollers, dogs, deers, horse riders and those who just want to go for a quiet walk in the woods.

Houstrup is just 3 km from Nørre Nebel, which virtually has everything you need, like the grocery shops SuperBrugsen, Netto and Fakta and various clothing stores, cafees and pizzerias.10 km south of Houstrup is Henne and Henne Strand with a wide range of shops, entertainment and restaurants. Nymindegab located 5 km north of it, and along the way you will find a modern miniature golf course. Nymindegab is the gateway to exciting terrain with dunes and beaches and bicycle routes all the way to Hvide Sande, which also has excellent facilities for surfing on Ringkøbing Fjord. Blåvand is located 30 km south of Houstrup. Here you will also find, in addition to shops and restaurants, the museum "Tirpitz Exhibit" and Blåvand Zoo.

The resort area Sea-West is located only 1 km from the cottage. They have restaurants, bowling, badminton, etc. and a wonderful water park and wellness center.

The area as well as Denmark in generel has great golf facilities.

Around Houstrup there are several options for riding in the beautiful scenery.The railroad from Nørre Nebel to Nymindegab is closed. Instead they have maintained the track so you and your family can ride the rail bikes, which can be rented at the kiosk in Nørre Nebel. During the trip, it is possible to take a break and have a nice meal at the picnic shelter in the stunning scenery.

The distance to Legoland in Billund is about 50 km. Distance to Esbjerg is about 45 km. Varde 25 km. 16 km to Bork with shops and boardwalk, which has great facilities for surfing. Train trip to Copenhagen 3 hours.

The house is a summer home that we are willing to swap all year round.

We can make a non-simultaneous exchange, as it is our second house.

We are a family of 5: 3 children with only one child still living at home. They are in the ages of 15, 20 and 23. Isabella, Pernille and Frederik. Frederik and Pernille both study at the same university about 150 km from home, where Pernille lives and is studying to become a journalist. Frederik lives and study for the moment in Spain. Isabella is still in school. Hanne (Mom, 47 years old) is a nurse in charge of the emergencyroom. Claus (Dad, 47 years old) is an engineer and works with IT. We both loves to mountainbike, which there is big opportunities to do near our summer home. Our main home resides in the country on a small farm with cats and lots of space and nature.
